Author Login truncation

Hi,

I try to use myODBC for transfer purpose.
All is ok until I connect via myODBC to a remote database which login has been created for me with more than 15 characters.

My connection is refused and the error message contains my login truncated with 15 characters.
I don't know what to do to overcome this and I found no reference in the user manual of myODBC.

I noticed that 15 characters is a limit for my local mySQL database.

Thanks

PS: My login to the remote database is successfull via php scripts and via phpMyAdmin.
