Author COMPATIBLE parameter

All,

Is it recommended to set the COMPATIBLE initialization parameter always to
the installed patch version ? After upgrading an Oracle 9i db to version
9.2.0.6.0, I noticed that it's still set to 9.2.0.0.0, couldn't this lead to
less optimal CBO behaviour ?

Thanks
Matthias

Yes if CBO behaviour was modified.
