Firefox / AdBlock kills Oracle docs

| I realize that this is probably the stupidest question anyone has ever asked
here, but... I installed the AdBlock extension to Firefox. Afterward I
could no longer read the local 8.1.7 Oracle documentation. The message
"Applet OraInfoNav notinited" appeared. Uninstalled the extension, now I
can again read the documentation. Anyone know how I can tell AdBlock not to
block my local Oracle docs?

Type about :config in your address bar, and then start typing adblock.
You'll see an entry AdBlock patterns after three letters.
Add/modify at your liking.

I can see the AdBlock patterns, but I don't understand what I should change
to stop it from blocking the Oracle docs. There have been no patterns
added, it is a brand new AdBlock install.

Jumped to your question too soon, and your question probably
has nothing to do with the problem at hand.
Rereading you original post, I now tend towards thinking your
AdBlock interferes with Java - or the FireFox Java is too new
for the 8i navigator.
All I get is a Java error: cannot load java from <location>,
but docco is readable

Guess I can live without AdBlock until I don't need the 8.1.7 docs any
longer. I've got one last set of databases to upgrade to 9i then I won't
need 8i any more.
