Has microsoft announced any date as to when it would stop the support for
SQL Server 7.0

Mainstream support dies December 31 2005 and extended support will end
December 31, 2010 or two years after the next version of the product is
launched, whichever length of time is longer.

It is tied in with the Windows 2000 lifecycle as SQL server 7.0 is not
supported on Windows 2003.

Hi Pari,

Microsoft says Extended support for SQL 7.0 will end December 31, 2010 or two years after the next version of the product is launched, whichever length of time is longer. See the official site:-
