SQL Server 2000 and Outlook 2003

| I have recently upgraded my server from Win 2K to Win 2K3 this included
upgrading office to 2K3 as well. The upgrade involved a rebuild of the
server.
Now when I try to setup the mail in Sql Server Agent the mail profile drop
down is remaining greyed out. I use a domain account with an associated
email account. I have logged onto the server with that account setup
outlook and tried to configure Sql Server using that account, but still the
same result.
Is there an isssue with using Outlook 2003? Or an issue with my Server!
Its driving me mad.
Thanks in anticipation.

| Thanks for the quick reply. I have read the pages but do not think they
apply to me.
All email goes through the exchange server in an enterprise environment.
POP3 and SMTP don't come in to it (I think). But I am not getting as far as
being able to sent mails.
My problem is that Sql is not picking up the outlook mail profile. I have
checked that it exists with Control Panel and as I said logged in with the
account and sent and received mail to ensure the account was properly set
up.

| PROBLEM SORTED!!
I read the webcast relating to SQL Mail problems and found the answer.
It turns out that MAPI.dll that is in the system32 folder was a different
version from the one in program files\common files\system\msmapi\
1033. I
copied the version outlook was using in the 1033 folder to the system32
folder, restarted Sql Server agent and Bobs your uncle it found the profile.
Link to the webcast:

Its best to read the transcript.
Thanks for the help
