Author merge replication

Hi

I am trying to set up merge replication from a remote server and the
following msg appears:-

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'nicknames', table
'test.dbo. MSmerge_genhistory';
column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.
(Source: 192.168.2.110 (Data source); Error number: 515)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I changed the 'nicknames' column of the ms_mergehistory table on the
subscriber to allow nulls, but if I look at that table again after the
replication fails, the column has been changed back so that nulls are not
allowed.

(I also did a test and managed to successfully set up the replication on 2
local servers without any problem)

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance

Jonjo
