MS SQL Server - Image size : 2Gb per row or per column?

Image size : 2Gb per row or per column?

Does the limit on an image column mean that I can put up to 2Gb in each row,
or can I only put a TOTAL of 2Gb of image data into a table.

It is 2gb for each row.
