I have a DTS package in SQL 2000 then when executed on it's own runs in about
3 seconds. When I schedule it to run as a SQL Agent Job, it takes 5 or 6
minutes to execute and ends up hanging up saying "performing completion
actions" for the status. Eventually it does finish but taking a lot longer
than the DTS runs on its own. I have read some threads about exchange servers
and other email issues causing a problem but I am not using any time of mail
notifcations at this point. Any ideas?
