| I understand the Task bar is basically a window. Thus when Windows Explorer
crashes and regenerates the Task bar, it is a different window and the SQL
Service Manager in the System Tray is NOT remade. Now SQL works just fine
but I am missing the SQL Manager in the System Tray. Any ideas how to get
it back besides rebooting? Thanks.

| Check current processes for sqlmangr.exe using task manager. If it's
running, end the task. Then start a new instance using
Start-->Run-->sqlmangr.

Hope this helps.
