Author DRP solution for SQL2000 named instance

Hi all,

We have several SQL servers with multiple instance on it, we are planning to
implement a DRP process. As anyone of you already work on this subject and
find a transparent solution for end-users (without clustering). We
encountered the following problem, if my server crash I can reinstall it on
another but in order to simplify the process for enduser we create an alias
on the network for the new server name, but the constraint is with named
instance (alias doesn't work). It seems that savantis with his DBSwitch
solution was interesting but I can't have any information from them, company
has closed ?

Any help, advices are welcome.
Thanks in advance
Sylvain
