hi ^^
i have sql 2000 64 bit sp4

SQL2000 set up Start parameter (-T2543 , -T888)

what is it ?

Hi,

Indicates that an instance of SQL Server should be started with a
specified trace flag (trace#) in effect. Trace flags are used to
start the server with nonstandard behavior.

for trace behavior read BOL

I only want know that When use it (T888, T2543) ? , Why use it (T888,
T2543) ?

i find T3608, T4022, T1118.. etc On Book on Line .

but i can't find T888, T2543 information BOL

where i find those information ?

Hi,

U can find this information on itprowebsite.
This is used to trace all the level in SQL server .
Like few things can not be traced by profilor so it is used to tarce.
I may be wrong
..

Wei Xiao is right unless MS Tech support says you should not start sql server
with startup parameters.
