The application creates a database, and bcp's data into said database.
One client running Win2K server and SQLServer 2000 in France was unable
to load the data into the database. The work around was to change the
"HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\International" to correspond to the
values on an English machine. I have tried to replicate the problem on
Windows XP professional by changing the .sDecimal and .sThousand values
under this registry key to , for .sDecimal from . and leaving
..sThousand as a blank (The failure occurred trying to insert a value of
the form 123.1991911 into a column with float datatype) and failed to
reproduce the issue.

Is there a difference between Win2k and WindowsXP in the way it would
respond to such a registry change in relation to BCP.

Thanks for any help or ideas.
