SQL 2005 Setup seems to Hang

First, it seems awfully slow to install. Second, I just tried to install
another copy on a new server, and it gets to the "Setting Registry Security"
on the SQL Server Database Services product, and it appears to sit there
forever. I've let it run for over 30 minutes, and it is still sitting
there.

Anybody else run into this experience?

I am not getting anything in the event log.
