cannot connect to SQL databse

| Hello,
After installing windows update on win2000 professional, the SQL agent
/ enterprise manager connot connect to any of the databses i have in my
organization.
What can i do to solve it?

You don't say what updates were applied to your system or if you got any
error message?
Have you rebooted since doing the upgrade?
Can you ping the remote server, does it think the server is on the correct
IP address? What does tracert and netstat -a give?
You may want to try using SQL Recon or SQL Ping to see if you can see the
SQL Servers http://www.sqlsecurity.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=26
You may wish to use SQL profiler to see if the login attempt is getting as
far as the server.
