ODBC error during creating a link to a MSDE db (other details)

I forget to say that I have installed MSDE 2000 on a server with Windows
Server 2003.
Moreover, the ODBC error occurs when I try to create the link on a client as
a user domain; but when I log on client as domain administrator the ODBC link
is created successfully.
