In a newly installed sql server 2005 (in WinXP) and 2000(in Win20003
Server), my backup application fails to create VDI with the system
error message "The system could not find the environment option that
was entered." ComInitialize and Cocreate Instance succeeds but
Create(device, config) fails with the above said error.
But the same backup app works fine with already available sql instance
in other machines (WinXP)
I am getting the following log in Error Logs (Log File Viewer at
Windows NT option)
