We have a Windows 2003 server and a Windows 2000 server, both with SQL
Server 2000.
We are following the following
Whenever we are tying to use a trigger that insert data in any table of the
Windows 2003 server we receive the following error:

Server: Msg 7391, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
The operation could not be performed because the OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB'
was unable to begin a distributed transaction.
[OLE/DB provider returned message: New transaction cannot enlist in the
specified transaction coordinator. ]

In case we are trying to execute the similar code from any other server, it
works properly.

1. We have tried using the settings given by microsoft but it did not work
in KB873160.
2. We configured the liked server in both servers.
3. Service Firewall disabled
4. We run the DtcPing on both machines and ping the machines in both
directions, the test was successful

Please HELP!!!!!
