| I am trying to help my dad at his small company, he wants to shrink the
transaction log file. From what I have been reading I need to use DBCC
Shrinkfile, but I have no idea how to execute that file....I am new to
SQL server, can anyone help walk me through this? Thanks

| You execute the command from the Query Analyzer tool, found in the SQL Server program group. You
might also want to read http://www.karaszi.com/SQLServer/info_dont_shrink.asp
