Hi,

We have installed downloaded trial version of sql server 2005x64 on vmware
and it works well locally but although I can ping the vmware install
remotely, I can not connect to the sql server (can connect locally np). Sql
server has remote connections enabled.

Can anybody provide any advice on how to troubleshoot this situation.
