We are planning to upgrade our production SQL Server from 2000 to 2005
Standard 64 bit.
My development machine runs Windows Xp and Sql Server 2005 Developer edition
(32 bit). Would I be able to register the production 64 bit database in my 32
bit Server Management Studio ( using New-> Server Registration)?

I don't see any problem doing that. Same version.

We think so too. Did anyone try it though?
Thank you
