Author Where to search for users added to the server

I added some 5k users to the sql server using the enterprise manager and want
to delete them now. I deleted all the users in the master database from the
enterprise manager but realised that the users were still present on the
server. I then deleted all the entries (except the builtin admin) from the
sysxlogins table. Is there anyother table where these entries are made? Or
should the entries be completely erased from my system now?
Is there a way of finding out how many users are present in the server?
