How to deposit Username and Password for access on MS-SQL-Database out of excel

Hello, I access data of a MS-SQL-data base (w2kserver) with Excel 2003
and update the data automatically. I would like to deposit user name
and password of the data base, in such a way that the user cannot see
it. Is that possible?
If not, which other possibilities exist one can access data of the
MS-SQL-data base which can anytime be updated without entering username
and password??? I'm grateful for any hint.
