| Hi,
Tell me if I am wrong, If I register SQL Server 2005 Express I can get
it free and distribute it to my customers. There is no licensing fee for
the end users either!
This is what I understood reading on Microsoft web site?

No trick.
There are other free databases out ther, Access, MySql, etc. Microsoft
thinks it is important to win in that market too. Today's garage project is
tomorrow's mission-critical enterprise application.
If you build your application on SQL Server Express Edition and later need
to scale it up, you can simply use a different edition of SQL Server.

| There is a small catch. You and your customers can download it freely but
if you want to distribute Express with your application you have to register
here:
