| Hi all,
We are planning to build client/server solution and make it accessible
to registered users on Internet.
Server side will be built in a form of Windows service that will
communicate with clients through custom TCP sockets.
Behind windows service there would be SQL Express database for keeping
users data (username, password, access log etc.) and storing backup
image of data used by service.
Only windows service would be directly accessing database.
Is it possible to deploy SQL 2005 Express in this kind of scenario or
CPU license for workgroup or standard edition would be necessary.

| Sure, as long as Express can handle the load.
