Author storedProc behaves differently depending on where it's run from

i know this sounds odd, but i've got a stored proc that seems to act
differently based on where i run it from. the storedProc is part of a
large DTS package and is responsible for importing users. it ran
automatically this morning, but only seemed to pick up 5 of 14 users. i
manually ran the storedProc from query anaylzer, and it picked up all
14 users. the exact same parameters are being passed to the storedProc
no matter where it's run from. the DTS never fails, but again, it looks
like the proc is only picking up 5 of the 14 users.

any ideas what might be the problem?

tks
