Can you share SQL Server registration across different machines?
|
|
|
| I have set up several sql server registartion in one of ours servers.
On this server I have the Read/Store User Independent unchecked on the
options screen in EM.
Now from my computer in my EM option screen I
have "read from remote checked" and I have the server name edit box
filled in with the name of the server. But in my computer I am unable to
see the server registration it shows all the server groups correctly
but it is not able to read the server registartion. What am I doing
wrong? Is it possible to share registration in SQL server 2000?
I have read some more articles in google with similar problems but no
solution.
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

| Seems to be this bug, which doesn't seem to have a resolution:
