Hi, I'm Chris. Our company runs two 2003 servers with Sql. These servers
are replicated with a software called NSI and they both have SP1, Symantec
AV, and Veritas Exec 10 installed.

The Recurring error are as follows:
Source: Application Error
Catagory: (100)
Event ID: 1000
"Unable to read local event log (reason: the event log file has changed
between operations)"

Also:

Source: SQLSEVERAGENT
Catagory: Alert Engine
Event ID: 312

"Successfully re-opened the local eventlog - NOTE: Some events may have been
missed."

And finally, This error happened once, today, on the backup server, the two
errors above occur on the primary and this backup:

Source: SQLSEVERAGENT
Catagory: Alert Engine
Event ID: 318

Faulting application vcagent.exe, version 2.1.0.720, faulting module
kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x00015dea.

Please provide any insight you can on these errors.

Thank you,

Chris B
