Hello,
I'm doing a great plains migrations for 50 users. I want to retain the
login information if possible. I maintained the exact folder structure for
the masterdb files and the great plains db files on the new server. I copied
over the master, model, and temp files (and the associated ldf files). I
started the sql service and checked the Sql ErrorLog for any errors, there
were NONE.

My server name is different, the version of windows is different (w2k3
instead of w2k), sql server is the same version.

Should I expect any future problems that haven't shown up in the
ErrorLog? Is there a better way (read utility) to migrate the login
information from the MasterDb file.

I read something about changing the server name in one of the master
tables, and saw @@servername referenced several times, but wasn't able to
find any solid documentation on what to do with it.

Thank You,
LT
