I have the same question as another user on another forum (he never got an
answer)
"I'm using SQL Server 2005 and MS Management Studio, when i define database
role then from role securities tab i assign permissions to securities
(tables) to users then everything is ok, but when i press OK then reopen the
role again to see securities list and their permissions i just set earlier,
i found the list blank even though if i open tables properties and see
permissions i found them set , why [does the] database role dialog box not
show
securities and their permissions i set earlier ??

seeing permissions from the tables side is not convenient , i need to see a
role and all securities list and permissions on every security just like
Enterprise manager show when i press permissions button in a database role
dialogobx

any help very appreciated."
