Author Security issue after server move (Viewing jobs)

Hello,
We recently moved our databases from one SQL 2005 SP1 (64-bit) server
to another. As part of the process I restored the msdb database on our
new server. The user has the same roles as before in the msdb
database:
SQLAgentOperatorRole

SQLAgentReaderRole
SQLAgentUserRole

He was able to view jobs fine before the move and he has the same
access level, but this issue seems to be linked to the
mssqlsystemresource database that can't be touched. I have dropped and
re-added his permissions but that did not work. When he tries to view
the job activity monitor he gets this error:

Execute permission denied on object 'xp_sqlagent_enum_jo
bs', database
mssqlsystemresource'
, schema 'sys'.

Any ideas why this might happen?
