| IN our network with Windows 2000 server and Windows XP clients the following
problem occurs.
On our accountingfirm book-keeping is done with a prograam that runs on
sql-server. The following happens:
After some time (approx. half an hour) SQL-server reports the following
error:
"Cannot connect with(SQL server, server=server; trusted
connection=yes)[Microsoft] [ODBC SQL server driver] cannot generate SSPI
context; SQL state S1000; EDLerror: an error has occured in the execution of
the ODBC."
The support-department of the software-supplier advised to run the SQL-tool
CLICONFG.EXE to make an alias to the full computername of the server.
Anyone an advise?

| What is the computer time on the domain controller, SQL server and the
client reporting the error.
If they are out by more than 5 minutes Kerberos authentication will fail.
