Urgen: Visio vs SQL Server
|
|
|
| Hi~
I would like to use visio to draw a database model, then, "TRANSFORM",
this chart to a physical SQL Server database in MS SQL SERVER 2000.
Which version of Viso should I use?
Would Visual Studio.NET 2003 have this feature?
Thank you~~~

| you need the professional version of Visio
the version in VS 2003 can't generate the database from a visio schema (from
what I have tested) but can generate a visio document from a database
(reverse engineering).

| but this version is not the same as the standalone version.
when install it, I'm loosing some visio 2003 capabilities.
I'm not sure if its the Version 2003 into VS architect.
