XML DSO tool now failing to script cubes - .NET error popup occurs

| Previously I had no problems with this tool and used it for moving cubes and
renaming datasources.
Now, however, I am unable to run the client tool.
When 'right click'ing script as <action> it appears to start running then
comes back with a .NET error
Has anyone else had this problem?
Message:
COM object has been separated from its underlying RCW can not be used

| more information:
of the 3 types of 'script creation types' available,
2 of the 3 appear to work
the one which fails is
"add other related OLAP objects"
NB when getting the other 2 to work, I was slightly disturbed to see that
the datasource generated differs from that shown in the analysis manager
I'm still having no joy getting this to work. Any ideas?
