Hi all and thanks in advance for you help.
I am stuck. I have been using the same BI Solution for practicing and
learning the new Analysis services. After deleting a cube and all the
related dimensions related to it I can't process any other cube. I have all
my connections set correctly. I get the following error.

File system error: Error opening file; \\?\C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL. 2\OLAP\Data\REMAnaly
sis.0.db\Port ~MC.1.cub.xml is not a disk
file or file is not accessible. Errors in the metadata manager. An error
occurred when loading the Port ~MC cube, from the file, '\\?\C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL. 2\OLAP\Data\REMAnaly
sis.0.db\Port
~MC.1.cub.xml'.

Ofcourse this is the full error. Port was a dimension at one time and I
deleted it and it seems that somehow it is hanging on to the cube. I tried
creating a new BI solution with a different name everything. That didn't
help. I tried going to the path specified and I did see the xml files listed
and I deleted those and tried building again and that didn't work either.
Then I tried to reregister the msolap90.dll in hope that it will clear the
cache or whatever it is that it hanging on to. But that didn't help either.
So I am running out of ideas. Please help, I don't know where to look to get
rid of this error.

Thanks,

Amadelle
