We have an issue where cube security does not seem to working correctly. We
have been working with Adventure Works database to attempt to understand the
security model. We have used the customer and employees dimensions. When
we attach our security to "State-Province" on the customer we get what we
want. When we restrict role1 to see "Queensland" that is all that role can
see. When we restrict role1 to see only "David Campbell" we see others
under his supervisor. The biggest difference is that the employee dimension
is set up in a hierarchial fashion. We are trying to understand why it
works with one and not the other.
