Hi,
appologies if this is not the correct forum

I am experiencing a peculiar occurrence where by I use the ODBC administrator to add an SQL server connection - the name and connection details go into the registry correctly but the ODBC administrator does not list the name under system data sources name?

any one experience this? any suggestions?

my security permission are all suitable with local admin rights - I am using win200 Prof and my sql driver is SQLSRV32.dll 2000.85.1025.00 18/11/2003
