Author creating an ODBC DSN
reesent

when trying to create an ODBC System DSN to a SQL2k5 database, using either
the old SQL Server or the SQL Native Client driver, the drop down list for
selecting a default database lists master, msdb, and tempdb, but none of my
user databases are listed. If I manually enter the name of one of my user
databases, the dialog replies "The database entered is not valid".

Is there a security toggle that I am missing somewhere? How do I enable user
databases for use as ODBC DSNs?
