[Microsoft][SQLServe
r 2000 Driver for JDBC]Unexpected end of escape happens when I try to execute an SP which causes problems since in the SP it is trying to insert some japanese characters/weird characters.

Has anybody seen such type of an error ?

The exception is raised on calling the SP for inserting data containing weird/foriegn characters into a table.

Strangely enough all the subsequent calls to DB fails & the following error is printed.

[Microsoft][SQLServe
r 2000 Driver for JDBC]Syntax error at token {? = call EGPL_F_GET_SEQUENCE ( N, line 0 offset 0
