Does the today release new JDBC Driver support SSL encryption ?

I am sorry to say that it does not, for me this and the lack of integrated
security are the biggest missing features this release. We will be releasing
v1.1 within a "reasonable window:" of Sql Server 2005 service pack 1 (some
time in the spring) and are currently looking at what features we can
tackle. If you have some feedback on how important this feature is I will be
happy to pass it on up the ladder during v1.1 planning.
