Hi-
I've been trying to install SS2K Hot Fix # 818095 for one of my clients
and it keeps terminating - the Log for the install contains an error
message that reads "...dbmslpcn.dll is WRITE LOCKED".

I stopped all but a few of the services on the box, but still can't
seem to get it installed.

Any suggesions??

Thanks in advance for any help on this issue, it's been a royal PITA!

Pete

You can use Process Explorer from Sysinternals to identify which
process is using the DLL:

If all else fails, you might need to reboot the server to free it up.
