I'm trying to find a central website/group that lists what is possible
with
regards to replication depneding on your OS. For example, is
transactional
replication supported on XP Pro and SQL Server Standard Edition?

I have a scenario where a machine has XP PRo and SQL Developer's
Edition. If
I recall correctly, transactional publishing is not supported from a
box with
this configuration.

If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks!!

As far as I'm aware, replication has nothing to do with the OS, and it
depends only on the edition of MSSQL - transaction replication is
certainly possible with Standard Edition (MSDE on the other hand can
only be a transactional subscriber). But you'll probably get a more
definite answer in microsoft.public.sqlserver.replication.
