Software Tree has updated NJDX, the KISS OR-Mapper for .NET. The new
version 1.1 supports .NET 2.0. It also incorporates many usability
improvements and an enhanced user manual. NJDX provides smooth
integration with MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and MS Access and other
databases. NJDX has also been tightly integrated with Visual Studio
..NET and can be used with any CLR-based language including C#, VB.NET,
and J#.

NJDX avoids traditional code generation approaches, which typically
produce large amount of complex source code that is tedious, verbose,
and a maintenance nightmare. Instead, NJDX employs a clean, dynamic,
and meta-data driven programming methodology supporting pure domain
object models, resulting in simpler and faster applications that are
easy to evolve and maintain.

NJDX features include:

- Simple declarative mapping specification (No XML complexity)
- A non-intrusive and dynamic programming model
- Easily handles complex object structures, including class-hierarchies
- Flexible query options - deep, shallow, and anything in-between
- Stored procedure integration
- Virtual attributes
- Aggregate operations
- Object caching
- Optimistic locking for concurrency control
- Support for connection pooling and trusted connections
- Lightweight and optimized mapping engine
- NJDXStudio - An intuitive Add-In for Visual Studio .NET
- Reverse-engineer an object model from an existing relational schema
- Forward-engineering for schema creation
- Tutorials, extensive documentation, and many working examples

A free 30-day evaluation version of NJDX OR-Mapper is available from
Software Tree's web site (http://www.softwaretree.com).
