Switching publications with SqlCe 2.0?

I have a need to synchronize with a different publication depending on the
roles that my users belong. I am using SqlCe 2.0.

I thought that if I had a local CE database that was created by subscribing
to Publication A, and then the next user needed to get data from Publication
B, I could just set the ReinitializeSubscrip
tion flag and specify Publication
B for the Publication attribute before calling Synchronize. However, it
appears that SqlCe just ignores this and synchronizes with whatever the
initial publication was when the CE database was created.

Is this indeed the behavior? Is the best practice to get around this just
to delete the database and start with a new subscription?
