Management Studio oddity (Bug?)
|
|
|
| I am unable to modify any table valued function from mangement studio. I am
the system administrator for this database and wrote the function. Query
analyzer allows me to edit it. Dows anyone had similar experiences?
Error message:
"Property QuotedIdentifierStat
us is not available for UserDefinedFunction
'[dbo].[BreakApartStr]'. This property may not exist for this object, or may
not be retrievable due to insufficient access rights.
(Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)"
I followed the link to the Microsoft web page, but it had no more information.
Thanks for your help,
Mark

This is a known bug, and it should be fixed in SP1, see
http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/produ...5-62d1fb31d0a4.
As I understand, the bug exhibits only when you connect to SQL 2000.
