Hi, I just recently moved to a different floor in the same building but
my SQL Query analyzer and Enterprise Manager have become lot slower.
Thouh I can query using Query Analyzer but Enterprise Manager
completely freezes.
I talked to database administrator and he is saying things are fine at
his end. I went back to my earlier floor to check if it works there but
got same problem there as well.
Tried to login with other people's id but same issue.
Rest of my team is having no problem accessing SQL Server.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Pradeep

One thing to check for, is whether you have any servers registered in
EM that you cannot access.

Thanks for your reply Erland. There is only server registered in my
profile at EM. If do DTS then it's connecting but very slowly but if I
click on Databases under server name it completely freezes.
I am assuming it's connection problem but strange thing is none of
colleagues are having any issue like this.
Cheers

Hm, what permissions in the database do you have? It sounds like you don't
have sysadmin permissions, and there are a bunch of database set to auto-
close. In this case EM needs to open every database to see which databases
you have access to.
