Is there a way to install SQL 2005 Express with more than 1
gb. of ram. or limit the addressable ram in Express to just 1 gb?

Hi

SQL Server 2005 Express will automatically only use 1GB of RAM, even if more
than 1GB is installed on a machine. The 1GB limit is not configurable.
You could have 32GB, but it will only use at maximum 1GB.

It uses only 1 processor, even if more are installed.
