I am trying to import a spreadsheet to my database

i have all columns that need to beed populated filled out. EXCEPT my ID
column.
this is my index and automatically creates the next ID in line.

how can i APPEND my spreadsheet to my database and let it assign the correct
ID's
(the next available incriment)
when i try to import using the import feature in Enterprise Manager it gives
me:

Destination does not allow NULL on column pair 1 (soucre column 'cat_id'
(DBTYPE_WSTR), desination column 'cat_id'(DBTYPE_14))


any help please?
