Newbie: installing SQL Server 2k

| Hi,
I am trying to install SQL Server 2k Enterprise Edition on my PC (running XP
Pro), I obtain a message error that said something like:
"the component of Microsoft SQL server 2000 Enterprise edition is not
compatible with your operating system"
Any help?, Is it possible to install SQL Server 2K over XP Pro?.

| You can't install SQL Server Enterprise Edition on Windows XP Pro, only on
server class operating systems. For a complete overview of Operating Systems
supported by the various versions of SQL Server 2000 see:
