Hi,

I am trying to install SQL Server 2k Enterprise Edition on my PC (running XP
Pro), I obtain a message error that said something like:

"the component of Microsoft SQL server 2000 Enterprise edition is not
compatible with your operating system"

Any help?, Is it possible to install SQL Server 2K over XP Pro?.

You can't install SQL Server Enterprise Edition on Windows XP Pro, only on
server class operating systems. For a complete overview of Operating Systems
