Hi

I am trying to run TextCopy.Exe utility with an instance of MSDE, but
it keep throwing the following error.

DB-Library Error 10004: Unable to connect: SQL Server is unavailable or
does not exist. Unable to connect: SQL Server does not exist or
network access denied.
*****

Same thing works fine with SQL 2k.

Please help me out.

Hi

It is a DBLib application, so try to create an alias for it with
cliconfg.exe
