SSIS - Reference to preceeding component

I am writing a custom dataflow transformation component - I need to get the
name of the proceeding component.

I have been trying to find a way to get a reference to the Package object,
MainPipe object or IDTSPath90 object (connecting to the IDTSInput90 of my
component) from my component because I think from there I can get to the
information I want.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
